I saw a interview video with a hand model. It’s good and pays well if you break in but it’s a lot of work.

He basically put it this way: marketing, advertising, photography and video don’t half ass things at the professional level. It’s often a lot of holding things at arms length or over your head for long periods of time. Or precisely manipulating an object in a very smooth, particular or aesthetically pleasing way.

It’s kind of like thinking “voice acting” is easier than acting because you’re not on screen you’re just speaking into a microphone: not it has its own specialization, work and talent you have to keep up with.
