Sex worker here!

While I’m sure it seems like the obvious option, I’m not sure we should be up for these deranged assholes to be sent our way. People like this barely accept their peers as humans, and people have many negative ideas about us, based the old prostitute trope. So I am pretty sure they would treat us like absolute shit.

Sex work should definitely be legalised, well technically, what we are advocating is decriminalisation, as legalising can have its own drawbacks in terms of safety, and they are different things. The only country to get this right is New Zealand. Sweden, for example, has legalised the selling of sex so workers don’t get punished, but clients do. This drives away the law abiding nice clients and leaves us to pick between clients who don’t mind risking trouble.
