"This has brought out the worst in some people": Restaurateur Jacob Wharton-Shukster on his plan to make vaccination mandatory for indoor dining

I feel like we're not understanding eachother here. I'm not doubting the efficacy of the vaccine. I'm not doubting covid can be dangerous for some. I'm saying, if the goal is to prevent spread to these vulnerable groups, banning unvaccinated people doesn't make a difference? If the vaccinated staff and other clients can still very well carry and spread covid, then that makes the policy redundant. If the owner fears for their workers or customers they should simply remained closed until their comfortable reopening; they don't need to wait for government mandates to do so. They're clearly still worried and are using policies to scapegoat a segment of the populous, which is wrong both scientifically and ethically.
