Joel needs a real Pg who can be a threat from the outside while also being able to handle the ball. Simmons is more a point forward right now and he doesn’t penetrate or cause any threat from the outside in half court offense. All he does is pick up his dribble and wait for Jj or Jimmy to get the ball deep on the wings and then the real offense starts. It’s not easy closing a game out against good teams with a center... Jojo only has a few spots on the floor like the elbow and the post where you want to get him the ball and when he’s getting attention it’s not easy to make that happen in the half court consistently. Butler needs more top of the key pick and rolls but like we’ve been saying Joel is trying to not shoot 3s and Ben can’t even shoot a mid range so what other players are gonna be in pick and roll consistently and who is gonna space the floor and not allow the defense to double and sag in the paint. I’m praying markelle and Zhaire can comeback and make a difference and then solving the bench crisis in the future shouldn’t be a problem. They’ll figure it out
