Browns front office says Darnold was #1 on board prior to interviews/meetings

Firey attitude hasn't gotten them over the top. Eli's stoic leadership and making plays in the clutch is what got them the wins. 2007 he had a pretty mediocre playoff run but didn't really make mistakes. In 2011 he had one of the worst defenses in the league (25th) and played lights out in the playoffs and carried that team to a win.

It's kind of hilarious how you keep talking about leadership meaning only fiery attitude then point out the fact that the same fiery attitude has done nothing to help the Chargers overcome those same close games that the Giants have succeeded in. Shouldn't that say something to you? When the game is on the line why is it that Eli comes in clutch and the Giants win but Rivers doesn't and the Chargers lose?
