Jesus Christ. I'm not sure how I'm just now learning about this. But I must say, I would hate to be in a position where the media cared about every little big thing my family did. Obviously this particular incident is a huge issue, and I'm glad justice was served, but it must be extremely embarrassing/humiliating having your personal shit plastered on media outlets. AJ didn't necessarily need to brought up in every paragraph, or even at all. I don't get the need to even include him, along with all the ties to his college success. Article could have been strictly about the perpetrators and not included the childhood picture opening the Christmas present.

Not nearly as severe, but Manti Te'o didn't need his personal shit put on blast either. It wasn't about how he played on the football field, and probably just became a distraction to him and teammates.

I'd hate having the media watching my every move. Feel bad for some of these kids.
