Bruce Willis Stepping Away From Acting Following Aphasia Diagnosis

I have lived a fairly hectic life I guess? When I was younger I played multiple sports and my family traveled a pretty significant amount. By the time I was 20 I had played a combined 23 seasons of sports, had been to 48/50 states, and to 13 different countries (obviosuly this is not typical, I was so lucky to be able to do any of this). After high school was college which is obviously a wild 4 years. Learned drums in there and still made yearly trips to California, Texas, and Colorado to see friends and go snowboarding. Since graduation from college (6 years ago) I have lived in 3 different houses, had 3 different jobs in different areas (courts, brewery, military helicopter manufacturer). 2 years ago moved across the country to attend law school and will be moving back across the country next year when I finish.

Honestly, my life has gotten slower the older I have gotten so I feel that plays a part. I just did so much shit when I was younger that any time I can sit for 3 days in a row is a goddamn blessing. But really I just always try to keep traveling somewhere, or learn some new thing even if it is useless. Covid has made it harder, but monotony is what kills people.

You don't have to uproot your life, but learn 5 new recipes a week, sit in your yard and bird watch and learn a new species every week, go to museums, read about current events, etc etc.

I don't focus on today, yesterday, or tomorrow. I wake up and do whatever needs done that day. I try to take every day as it comes and appreciate it for what it is and not rush through it. People are always focused on the next thing, I hardly focus on what is in front of me lol
