I am very new to moissanite, (only started buying this year), but from what I have heard from others on this sub, the H&A DEF stones I've bought from Starsgem have improved a lot over the past year or so. For that cut, I can't imagine having a better stone, and when I purchased, the prices were still very low, (May & June).

I don't know what you're being quoted, but the last quote I got was double, ($399 vs $199), for a 6.5mm solitaire pendant necklace that was 16 inches long, so I decided to not buy it, but I love my first necklace, (the $199 price was for a 6.5mm GH color stone).
