Christy joined TB about five years ago. She claimed to have given up a prestigious legal career to stay home with her autistic son. The reality is that she hooked up with some loser with multiple DUIs who killed a man after running Christy's car off the road and into a house. They both lied about it to police and were found out. Husband ended up going to prison for 48 years on a plea deal; Christy got off scott free. She was eventually disbarred by the state and took up writing for a living.
The point is, she made it seem like she did a noble thing when she actually didn't have a choice and isn't a very nice person at all.
