Budgeting question

I get why it hurts, but does it change your opinion about your fraternity at all? Are you less happy where you are before you read some dumbass rankings?

I’m a sorority alumna and I went to a southern school where not getting a bid to a top tier sorority is basically the worst thing that could ever happen to you. I didn’t think that way, though, and I picked the girls I liked the best even though they were not top tier. It hurt when other sorority girls or fraternity members would ask me, “Why are you a [insert sorority here]? You don’t look or act like one.” But even though it hurt, I never thought less of my sorority and my sisters, because I knew I had found my home and that was more important than being top tier for me. However, when people would say stuff like that to me, I did start to think less of THEM.
