No offense, but it's just about as silly to call it "Grenfell" as it was for me to call it "Notre Dame" in the heat of the moment. To be clear, I don't believe that any single building on Earth is worth more than any single human life, and if my comment gave a different impression, please know that that was not at all my intention. I'm definitely on the "bleeding-heart" end of the spectrum, and not just in words but in actions.
I just really love that building and wasn't thinking in zero-sum terms in the moment. If there had been any indication that human life was in peril due to the fire, I certainly wouldn't have been lamenting the loss of one old building, but my understanding at the time was that all of the residents of the camp there were safe.
