Buford Tower on fire

No offense, but it's just about as silly to call it "Grenfell" as it was for me to call it "Notre Dame" in the heat of the moment. To be clear, I don't believe that any single building on Earth is worth more than any single human life, and if my comment gave a different impression, please know that that was not at all my intention. I'm definitely on the "bleeding-heart" end of the spectrum, and not just in words but in actions.

I just really love that building and wasn't thinking in zero-sum terms in the moment. If there had been any indication that human life was in peril due to the fire, I certainly wouldn't have been lamenting the loss of one old building, but my understanding at the time was that all of the residents of the camp there were safe.
