Why build anything on ethereum network???

To build on this it's also important to consider why other networks have lower fees today and if they will be able to keep this model.

Solana keeps fees low with issuance for example. Issuance has an end. It can't keep this up forever. Solana is not solving decentralization either. The amount of validators are not nearly enough. Is Solana great for the short term? Maybe? Is it secure, decentralized, and a sustainable platform to build on that will always have low fees? Probably not.

Also the Ultrasound Money meme for Ethereum is a sneaky aspect no one talks about. Yes we can build on Ethereum but it is also going to be a better store of value and more secure than Bitcoin in the future. A nation state's worth of wealth could destroy Bitcoin (and Ethereum today). PoS Ethereum is likely secured against that kind of attack and with less issuance and fee burning, low fees on L2, PoS... ethereum is moving towards being the most secure, eco friendly, low cost, and most widely used option out of any of the choices today.

I totally get the tx fee hate. There is an unfortunate wall right now in Ethereum while L2s roll out. But look over the wall and you will see why once it comes down it is the path that makes the most sense at the moment.
