We could even knock it down further, get even a cheaper CPU cooler, go with a mini atx board, cheaper case, and also cheaper fully modular PSU or even a decent quality semi modular one. Another thing to worry about (well at least for me), most of the parts are from Amazon so 7-8% tax on those parts would probably increase it to 1600$ roughly. Furthermore we could get parts that come with a MIR to bring it down but personally not a big fan of them.
