Just two tweaks. The power supply one is really either option is fine. I put in a gold one simply because the R9 390X I also put in consumes more power, so the efficiency of the Gold does have its benefits.

Overall right this second I'd buy a R9 390X over the GTX 970. Significantly more, and faster, RAM seems like it will carry that card further into the next gen than the 970 will.
