  1. Much stronger CPU in almost every way.

  2. A plain jane H97 motherboard. Not much to say about it.

  3. More affordable memory, a little slower but you will never see a difference in games.

  4. The R9-290 is faster than the R9-380. The Vapor-X cooler is also nearly silent and performs extremely well thermally.

  5. A more affordable, higher quality PSU. 550w is plenty for this build.
