so I falsly assumed that servers required specially shaped motherboards based on the insides of only one server I saw with VERY strange mobos. (they were long and thin, very weird) I parted the server out just to see the costs if I buy EVERYTHING ONLY from newegg. Without getting any sort of bulk discount or shopping around or upgrading parts for cheaper.

comes out to 6787 or about 1063 dollars cheaper to build myself. Any reason why some of these parts are so expensive? or is it just because all of them are "server grade" ?
