Do bullies hold any blame for school shootings?

Yes yes yes yes.

Also teachers, parents, and pop culture.

Obviously these people don’t pull the trigger, (don’t need to get into that argument since it’s obvious and thoroughly discussed here already) but kids today are fucking awful human beings, the worst they’ve ever been. There’s no accountability for what anyone does or says unless it’s extreme violence and witnessed or attached to some kind of movement( me too). The internet helps kids with this accountability avoidance but in person there’s also no accountability. Kids lie like they breath and say the most vile things to one another and if a teacher or guardian isn’t there to witness nothing happens and the victims of bullying know that, which is why they repress it.

Teachers don’t practice authority. Teachers practice and teach pacifism- which is great in theory until the children tormenting you don’t agree with that philosophy(which is always) and never stops. They’re also not all qualified to be educators, they’re just certified by the state- doesn’t mean they have the tools to deal with the volatile and highly malleable adolescent mind.

Also parents are to blame. They let their fifth graders watch adult swim until 3am because they put a tv in their room or watch whatever narcissistic , closed-minded, ranting YouTuber that satisfies and reinforces their insecurities by making fun of a person or group they dislike. They’re with their kids for about one hour a day in which they eat in front of a tv ignoring one another. Parents are children’s first and most important role models. If the parent doesn’t give a shit about other people why would the child?

Pop culture because it’s everywhere. It’s everywhere and it’s subject is mostly conflict- it rewards those who attack others the best. What rapper roasted some other rapper the best, who on Twitter humiliated who the best, what the best meme going around is of an out of an context quote of someone who had intention of being made fun of by the entire internet.

Kids get stuck at the bottom or imagine they are due to one or a combination of these variables. They get punished for the person they really are. They exhaust their efforts trying to fit in and be themselves but something they can’t control keeps them down and keeps telling them or making them feel like they are below human, so they act below human. They stop valuing their own life and eventually the lives of others. And they crack. The human brain is like a muscle, it can only lift so much.

I feel sorrow for all these poor children of our once great country that get murdered so awfully just at the beginning of their lives. But I also feel sorry for the kids that pull the trigger because no human being does something so terrible without growing up in terrible circumstances. It's not talked about much, but I also believe these murderous kids are victims of rape of molestation in addition to severe bullying. They repress the pain and trauma and don’t deal with it psychiatrically until it manifests into anger. We don’t hear about it because they kill themselves, either at the end of their killing spree with their murder weapon, with a rope, or with a drug overdose.
