"The Bulls made a stupid trade, they don't have any shooters!"

I can see your point, as LeBron definitely won his championships both in Miami and Cleveland with help side. As a matter of fact, I'll go as far as to say, there wouldn't be a chance in hell LeBron won any of his titles if it wasn't for help side. Help side is key, and even the Bulls won many of their games in the playoffs because of guys like Kyle Korver and Mike Dunleavy. Your logic in this is solid.

However, I think you're a little hard on Rondo. Rondo is by far not bottom 5 PG. He led the league in assists in SAC because he's extremely smart with the ball. He knew how to find his teammates because he's aggressive in the paint. He knows how to position himself very well. Rondo will do that once again, and will be even more dangerous as a 3 point threat now. He has more options than he does in SAC, as all he did was pass to an aggressive, banging Boogie. He has two superstars in Wade and Butler. Yeah, Wade might not play all 81 games, but Butler is clearly the superstar here in Chicago. We just need Wade to close games out.

We don't need Rondo, Wade, or Butler to hit threes. We just need them to be aggressive, and all 3 are aggressive enough to get to the paint, and many teams will double. Our help side is pretty solid if you ask me. Mirotic, McDermott, Valentine, Zipser.

I think the Bulls deserve a little bit more credit. I think the playoffs is without question this year.
