I am waiting to hear what he says about the shop. But if its over a certain amount again $100, I think we are going to push it through insurance. I am mad at the situation (I am a good driver who messed up once) and hate to see my insurance rates go up over <$750 worth of damage.

I am leery about the whole situation and he is just taking advantage of the situation. If it was me (again I know its not) I might have let the damage slide as it looked so minor that a bush could have done it.

To do over, I would have held up 10 minutes as he was so close to me my mom (passenger) could not get into my vehicle. From the accident and how he acted then, I believe he almost nailed me from behind and felt bad about it.
