Yes, and there's a good reason for that, which is that you never know the inner dynamics of a relationship.

There are plenty of relationships out there where one person says "I love you but i can't fulfill certain aspects of your sexuality that I know are extremely important to you. I want you to have those things but I don't want to hear about it".

That's very, very common. And it's no one's place to assume the role of vigilante and "fix" people's relationships. Maybe they're very happy like that and OP created a lot of unnecessary pain for them.

Just to be clear, OP's behavior was clearly an accident, I'm addressing the people who say "good for you, fuck that piece of shit cheater! yeah!!!"
