I don't know if this will work but it might be a helpful guide to fixing the error:

1. Do you get any error message while you launch the games?
2. Is it limited to a particular game or all the games?
3. Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:
   
4. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
5. Type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. More Information about SFC scan can be found in this document: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 If the above step does not resolve the issue uninstall and re-install the games.
6. Uninstall and Re-install the games:
7. Click on Start and in the search bar type "Turn Windows feature on or off"
8. Browse to the Games and un-check the box next to it.
