Why is the burden on us?

My thoughts :

Anger isn't a negative emotion in and of itself, and can be used to help make change and motivate change, as long as it is applied healthily. You could try finding positive outlets for anger: trying to persuade people, activism, donation, etc.

But if it does start becoming a negative in your life I think you should try to put where we are in context. Positive change takes a long time for society, regardless of what it is. At the moment it is a sacrifice, and can be hard, especially depending on where we are. But more of the world is becoming veganism, and it is picking up momentum, even if it is a slow build, which will also make it easier for us as well. It doesn't mean you shouldn't keep going while it is hard, or that you shouldn't be angry, but you are making a difference to the level of animal suffering, and you are helping to change society to being more compassionate.
