Burnt out and fired from first position out of college; What to do next?

So I have a witty anecdote that's far too inappropriate for nearly anywhere but might be helpful to you at least in terms of morale moving forward, so here we go... One day, also at my first job, I got in an argument with another doctor, long story short we unfortunately ended up getting in a physical altercation off to the side of the building where people took their cigarette breaks.

I took what I could learn from that experience and used it as a springboard to improving myself moving forward. It's ok to feel overwhelmed, upset, burned out when you get fired--it's an inherently unpleasant experience. Take some time to reflect, rekindle, get some professional support. Our field is a tough one for that because if you get right down to it, it's built on the platform of us being willing to hear the types of things that other people don't want to. I guess the only advice I have for you is to relax and care for yourself and try not to worry, you have plenty of time to find your way.

Best of luck! I know you'll be ok!
