This is why bus drivers need better wages.

Why’s everyone talking about degrees and the value of a degree vs a working class job?

These people are providing you with a service that is required for a large portion of Vancouver not only to get to and from work, but life in general. They are responsible not only to keep this city moving, but getting you to your job so you can also make money, all the while having to dodge pedestrians, other bad drivers, deal with the public, and maintain your safety.

I work in the sewer, dealing with human shit and piss, and everything else, I make high $30’s almost $40 an hour, and I’ll be damned if someone is going to tell me I shouldn’t be paid that for. Or attending a university.
