Bus routes are now twice as efficient in Victoria

As a professional truck driver myself I do find it “that deep”. Consideration goes right across the board. Just like fairness. You are only looking at it from the passengers point of view. We all have a “right” to fair treatment. There are many situations everyday that I could block traffic to perform my “personal “ job much better but would never dream of putting others out even 30 seconds to save 10 minutes of my own or company time.

If you watched the video , there was clearly a much safer and considerate way to do this. The bus blocking traffic could have pulled in front of the bus that was stopped. This would have been safer for everyone but the thing is it would have taken more time for the bus. 30 seconds or so. He didn’t want to lose schedule. So he did whatever he felt he needed to.
