Business Owner Vs Police (ontario Canada) Watch until the end

Exactly. Will retire at 55-58 and be sent 70% of final salary in retirement, via the defined-benefit pension ponzi, for the next thirty years. It never ceases to amaze me how few people either know this, or care -- this ridiculous two-tiered retirement bonanza for government shills employees.

Like think about that: my parents have a basic retirement income from public pension and the Canadian seniors allowance of maybe 16k-20k. They withdraw from their meager, taxable 401k-equivalents for another 6-7k a year.

EVERY GOVERNMENT WORKER who made 100k final salary will be sent 70k a year forever in retirement, beginning as early as 55 (30 years service), until they die. They are literally upper class by that point and no one will admit it. That single guv worker makes more in retirement than both of my parents put together, give or take.

It's the same in the US. It's so unfair it makes my blood boil and if i wanted to complain I'd have to go find some ultra-conservative tax-obsessed folks, they're the only ones who get it. We all need to start getting it - the government and its employees basically rob us by extracting our hard-earned income and giving it disproportionately to unionized employees.
