It takes less effort to look it up than to reply, and if someone is actually prepared to question and challenge their own views they would be prepared to follow up on finding out whether the words they are using mean what they think they mean.

The fact that you doubled down on your preconception of it's meaning even after being given a link to the dictionary, as well as the definition provided for you, pretty much confirms that you were never going to accept that it means something other than you think.

And honestly I'm not surprised. I knew before I even gave you the link that you would try to find some way to avoid accepting the actually definition of the word because of how you responded. "Alright I'll bite" is not how discussions begin, it's how someone responds when they are feeling combative and argumentative.
