I feel like the first team that can successfully distribute passing responsibilities between 2/3 players would have a huge advantage.
They really wouldn't (more on that in a second), and if you commonly use someone like Foles as a wide receiver you have a good chance of turning his brains into paste.
Basically having one quarterback that's incredibly accurate and smart is more important than gimmicks 999/1000 times. There aren't enough highly talented quarterbacks in the world to stock a team with 2-3. There's not even enough for every team in the NFL to have one. Then you also have to start factoring in athleticism, because Foles isn't much of a receiver. There's only been a handful of QBs in NFL history physically gifted enough to play wide receiver, and none of them were fantastic passers.
Once players start actually getting a read on this type of play, Fole's gets annihilated as soon as he touches the ball, and that's if he's lucky enough to where the ball actually gets to him.
