The current Conservative cabinet would implement again if they had the choice in the 70's, the current Labour cabinet wouldn't. Your comment is clearly trying to smear both parties for a bad policy when one party has changed to represent the people and the other hasn't.

In the 1920s neither Republicans or Democrats supported Civil Rights, you can't pretend that both parties are equally as bad even though only one of those parties still doesn't.
