Buying advice Chromebook for work

The i5 in the Thinkpad 13 outperforms the m7 if you're looking for raw power, but it isn't fanless.

Having owned and used both, The c302ca is very sleek and sexy, and the gloss screen is more vibrant than the Thinkpad's matte for sure. I'd also say I slightly prefer the touchpad on the c302, but not by much. They're about the same weight, but the c302 is slimmer.

Build quality is fantastic on both, as the Thinkpad is military grade shock and dust resistant. It's also extremely hard to beat a Thinkpad for pleasurable typing, they're renowned for their keyboards, so is say the Thinkpad wins there. Both are just great machines.

I ended up keeping the Thinkpad, mainly for the same reasons you stated, pure power, fantastic keyboard, and no need for the bells and whistles. But it was a tough call. YMMV.
