Buying blank tokens?

When I first picked up DM'ing again with 5e, I initially started creating minis using this way.

However it quickly proved to not be space-efficient at all. I could fit maybe 60 minis or so in a shoebox, and when I began DM'ing OotA, I realized I would need a LOT more minis. Also this process is rather time consuming.

So I resorted to using simple tokens, plastic chips, with printed stickers on them.

This new process is a little more expensive, however it's still nowhere near buying actual minis, and it is also much more space efficient.

So, since I use battlemats, I wanted 1" and 2" tokens.

For the 1" tokens, I simply got this off of Amazon.

For the 2" tokens, they seem surprisingly difficult to find. Most plastic chips and tokens seem to not be bigger than 1.5", so I just said fuck it, contacted a company that does custom laser work and placed an order for 200 2" round tokens 1/16 thick, it was a bit pricier but it gets the job done perfectly.

Then I needed the art to put on the tokens. So after some looking around, I bought these two things off of Amazon again:

1" circular labels

2" circular labels

Now the nice thing with these 2 labels is that when you buy them, you receive 1 free month of a label creator software on the company's website, where you can (for free, and no email spam or hassle) create an account, upload your library of art, and then design your label sheets. You can save your completed designs for ease of re-printing later if needs be.

Even when your free month is over, you can still use the software freely, the only drawback is that it automatically creates a watermark on the very top row of stickers, but you have so many of them, you just don't need to care about it. You'll never run out of stickers ever.

Then you just print your sheets, stick them onto your tokens, and you're building yourself a nice little token collection.
