Buying golden coins as an “investment” - is this a smart thing to do? (More details in the description)

For the record, I understood that I wasn’t allowed to and I accepted that from the first comment.

But yeah, that’s the gist of it, though one thing I tried to make clear is that I don’t have the ability to pay for college, at all. My assets aren’t assets because I have access to such assets, they’re assets because I put everything in my life aside - including my physical and mental health - to gather them, in hopes of going to grad school. If I lost my scholarship, my assets would be depleted within the year and I would need to drop out of my program.

So, my options for staying in college all involve having less money, which only has two unfortunate solutions I was trying to avoid. (not saving anymore and not working anymore).

If my intent was to lie about how much I made and act in bad faith, I could find some shifty slightly illegal way to reach the end goal in about 5 minutes, but that’s not what I’m trying to do.
