C3 Presents has “massive layoffs”

C3 is part of Ticketmaster/Live Nation. I work for Ticketmaster. Obviously, I'm not speaking on behalf of anyone other than myself. Very shortly after lockdown, our CEO said he would not accept any further salary for the rest of the year, and most of the senior leadership took a pay cut between 50% to 75%. I'm honestly surprised it took this long. Our revenue dropped 98% in April and has not returned, and I truly believe they did their best to cut costs before cutting people.

I started my indefinite furlough yesterday. Since we had to furlough the people that worked in venues in the spring, they committed to pay for 100% of the cost of our health and dental insurance. We're free to take 1099 contract work. I'm fortunate to be in a field that I can take advantage of that. I'll do that as long as they pay for my insurance and if/when they call me back, I'll decide if I go back. C3 has separate leadership so I can't speak to their business, but TM and LN have been really fantastic to work for.
