CA Lockdown and Resorts

First, chill. Second, I think you severely underistimate how much it costs to keep a ski resort operational. The goals you list have nothing to do with the final decisions by these corporations. If, in the moment, their operating cost is higher than their revenue stream, they'll close. And if you distill their customers down to their pass holders that becomes a genuine possibility bc the huge bulk of their revenue is from day passes and food sales. It doesn't mean they WILL close if only pass holders can ski, but the possibility is there and plain to see regardless of how much deferring people's passes screws them over. If it saves them even a penny in the long run they'll close.
