i see your point, idk which way i’ll vote either lol, lots of reasoning for both sides.

we’ll just have to wait and see if the URM that are accepted with lower qualifications if this passes will be able to graduate on time and handle the work at berkeley or ucla. the UC system did add another campus to battle the increase in applicants (Merced) and it’s easier to get into. UC Merced is more than half latino, but the problem they have is that their six year graduation rate is only 66%, while berkeley is at 92%. will top UCs have to dumb coursework down to get everyone to graduate? cal states already have this problem so they got rid of remedial math and writing recently, so we’ll see how this all plays out
