Funny. Almost a 5th of the property sold in the US is sold to foreign entities. A majority of the rest was purchased by people infiltrating your community from higher cost of living areas.

Oh, and your low paying jobs (even technical ones) are being done by immigrants who will work for poverty wages because they have the ability to live in conditions you consider abhorrent.

There is no property ladder. Your only option is to flee to a lower cost of living state (or country). That’s the game. People didn’t move to Idaho from San Francisco because they could afford it. They moved because they couldn’t. And now those Idahoans have been priced out of their own community. A STEM job isn’t going to save them. They already lost.
