We just did ours in the north part of the state. Depending on the agency they will either have you fill out long probing questionnaires (ours was 30pgs) or have long probing interviews , or both lol. Up here it was both. It was about a 3 wk process from the point we filled them out to when we were interviewed separately 2x and then combined as a couple 2x and then they interviewed each of our bio kids and then all of us together. All of this were written down and then we had about 8 hrs of interviews each, discussing them.
Questions about childhood included;, growing up, what age we reached certain bench marks, how we were disciplined, what our parents were like, did we have friends in school, was their abuse, substance abuse in the home, how did we do academically etc.. along those lines
Questions about adult life included; how is relationship, how many relationships, how many relationships in h.s, relationship with parents and family now, who would take care of children in case we died, what are our bio kids like, how do we discipline, what are our goals, how do we resolve conflict, where do we work, etc....
