In the report and then our response

Son fell off couch Babies are behind for their adjusted age Parents bring the babies to PT starved Mom forgot baby bag one day Parents don’t know what to feed their kids

“Son fell of couch” Grandmother was baby sitting. She let our son eat a bottle on the couch. She got up and attended to our daughter to change her diaper, son falls off couch. He went to PT the next day and there was a small bruise on his head from the fall. When PT asked the question, mom explained that story. We told the case worker our children are always supervised and that was an accident that will never happen again.

“Babies are behind for their adjusted age” I don’t remember how this was discussed with the case worker but I don’t think she really understood that one. We explained that they babble and daughter almost walked at the time. Just didn’t make sense. We went to PT for help with getting them kept up… is also what we explained.

“Parents bring the babies to PT starved” They had speech therapy at the same practice. We explained to the case worker that the specialist for these sessions told us to skip the babies lunch so they could have thorough feeding therapy sessions. We even bragged… saying they ate like tanks there. Our kids were always fed otherwise too… dumb claim.

“Mom forgot baby bag one day” That’s true. And the therapist didn’t care. She continued the session.

“Parents don’t know what to feed their kids” The PT thought we fed our kids junk food for whatever reason. Not true. We showed the case worker our babies large cabinets full of all their purées and yogurts and baby snacks. Even showed daughters meds explaining we give her a pill a day for her mild thyroid case. No neglecting here!
