We call upon Reddit to take action against the rampant Coronavirus misinformation on their website.

We've been nothing but empathetic for the last 18 months.

I have seen nothing but mocking of people who had any concerns.

Any time anybody said something like "I don't trust the vaccine, cause we don't know the long-term effects" it was met with "NO, YOU IDIOT".

Except it's completely valid to have doubts about something that has only gone through phase 3 trials.

And people's bodily autonomy was disrespected in that they were suddenly mocked for not wanting a vaccine they didn't know the long-term effects of in their body. (VITT syndrome be damned). And they were mocked for weighing the risks themselves.

That does not mean they have a right to spread lies that actively hurt and kill people.

If you remove them from this platform, they'll create their own space, and they'll be further away from the truth and cause more harm, than if they were right here and challenged on their POV. Is Qanon not enough proof of that?

You can't erase doubts by silencing people. You're only increasing their fervor.

The misinformation and anti-science viewpoint that these people wallow in has no place in a modern society and such will no longer be tolerated.

So prove them wrong. Again and again. Without mocking people.
