I am either weird or cool, it is very polarizing. The socialite celebrity worshipers think I am weird. Yeah, I don't fit in a shopping mall full of useless trinkets and overly expensive low tech, but shiny clothes. None of it is interesting and it is boring AF. Fuck keeping up with the basic Jones.

I think the random "That guy is cool" from some kids and adults is that I am independently a loner that does more than regular people. Fearful things that people would not even try, I will solitarily plunge into alone without any sort of validation or moral support from anyone. Like freediving into the dark, or paddling out surfing in a storm. It may be the low profile neutral colors and the ultra high tech gear that I may not or may be carrying. The clash of high end gear with cheap rugged worn down old stuff. People don't think you can kayak the same distance they motor boated out to freedive a reef from something that looks like a log.
