CALLING ALL CONVERTED DEMOCRATS AND BERNOUTS ETC - IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR PEOPLE ON THE FENCE! SHARE HOW YOU CAME TO SUPPORT TRUMP WITH UNDECIDED VOTERS ON /R/ALL!

The first time I heard about a Trump candidacy was from a professor who hated the idea months before Trump even announced. I don't know how he got it in his head, but I thought about how it would certainly be unique. At this point, I knew pretty much nothing about the guy at all except that he was a billionaire. It seemed like a billionaire might be an interesting change of pace, but how could he be really qualified? It didn't matter. My other professor, who was pretty qualified to speak on the subject, was all but certain (and frankly, pissed off) that it would be Jeb! versus Hillary whenever anyone would bring up the 2016 election.

Fast forward two years.

Some lunatic billionaire wants to build a wall. Now, I was never anything listed in the title, but I was always nervous about actually supporting Trump. People talked about him like he was a joke campaign when he started out, and put words in his mouth about calling "all Mexicans rapists." To me, securing the border seemed like an obvious thing to do. Apparently I was racist for thinking that though. Trump really piqued my interest on politics through everything he was saying and doing. I started reading the headlines about what this guy was saying. Everything the man said was a controversy and I loved hearing about it for some reason.

Fast forward to the primaries.

I start seeing /r/The_Donald all over /r/all. The memes hooked me, as stupid as that sounds. It actually made me look into him more than I might have otherwise. Someone linked to his website, where I read about how he actually planned to make Mexico pay for a wall. The fact that he had even thought it through that much fascinated me, even if I wasn't sure it would work. This dude was for real. So I stuck around on this subreddit. Eventually, more and more people started supporting Donald in real life and so I did too. The fact that so many establishment politicians hated him made me want to vote for him even more.

Fast forward to Wikileaks

By this point I really did make up my mind that I'd support Donald. The community here at /r/The_Donald had won me over in a way that it would be futile to describe to someone who didn't get interested like I did. The Wikileaks emails just confirmed any suspicion that I had about the DNC and Hillary being corrupt. That sort of brings us to today. You probably know about the obvious corruption. The justice system has failed us. That is like really scary. Clinton should not have gotten off the hook, and everyone knows it. There is only one way to truly bring about justice this election, and it is to elect Donald J. Trump.
