The colour of the helmet isn't the issue, the fact that it's quite obviously there it is.

At night that doesn't matter too much, which is when these guys are patrolling.

I don't actually know that much about body armour or how well it can be hidden, so i can't in right mind argue that point against you, it's possible.

These guys aren't running around in the middle of the day. At night you can hide a lot quite easily.

If i were them, i sure as hell wouldn't risk my well being either, they should have the same weaponary as standard police officers.

Then don't be a cop. It should be a standard. This is why there are so many shitty cops out there, they're not protecting people, they're just doing a job.
