Camper van on fire beside Grandview Highway Walmart

I'm not in the slightest bit concerned about anyone living somewhere and the "ugliness" of it.

I don't think this is the whole truth. I think you'd probably have some degree of concern if this person was parked directly in front of your house.

These complaints are ones of convince. It's convenient not to be burdened with an eyesore, and it's convenient to have parking where YOU want it. This guy is trying to survive. His needs outweigh your convenience by a long shot.

This is a fairly reductive take on what I said. I'm not opposed to people using public infrastructure as a home either, and I recognize many need to at the moment. But in my view it becomes a problem when they choose not to use the resource circumspectly and considerately. I don't think they should take up several parking spots with stored/dilapidated vehicles, tarps, and barbeques. If you're living in a vehicle, It isn't reasonable to expect to be able to store anything you want on adjoining public property.
