Campus rapist given lenient sentence to avoid "severe impact on him"

So, what's the female perspective on this, and how does it differ from the male perspective? I think we can all agree his sentence is unusually light, and the judge needs to be reprimanded for this.

Just wondering... because I doubt you'll find 10 people on reddit that would write a response that applauds the outcome to this case. MOST PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD think rape is fucking barbaric, regardless of gender. MOST PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD probably think this perverse little shithead deserves a much harsher sentence.

So how does the "twox" crowd differ here from the majority response to horrific acts of violence on women?

Why do I ask? Because this forum is about 30% rape stories, and about 1% uplifting, positive, good things, about good women. What's the point of posting this story, besides highlighting the fact that this particular judge and this particular scumbag are both men?

Do women generally think that most men are OK with this news story? I'm just as outraged as you are, but what's the female discussion here that deviates from general discussion about sexual violence? All it seems to say to me is, "Look! Another story about a man who got away with rape! The patriarchy is REAL!" It says nothing to me about how women discuss these things in any way different.

Personal rape stories are not part of my question here. Personal stories, and questions, and advice, from a female perspective are valuable. A news story about some (male) piece of shit doesn't tell me much about how women feel about pieces of shit. We all know shit smells. Just because it's a male piece of shit doesn't mean any sane male on this planet somehow feels a connection to him. He's a fucking psychopath. Just because Jeffery was a cannibal doesn't mean (as a man) I think he should get some free pass in society as a normal person.

I guess what this rant is saying is... I miss reading good stories about good women. All I read now is about how horrible life is as a woman. I wouldn't show my daughter this forum, or she'd have nightmares for the rest of her life about rape, abortion, harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, the wage gape, evil judges, evil human beings that murder women, work problems, childcare problems, etc.

All of these are important issues for women, but this forum needs some serious balancing between telling women they are valued and important, and telling women they are trash and the victims of society.

Am I wrong? Go ahead and read the first page of this forum... count the molestation, rape, violence stories. Then count how many uplifting stories about finishing degrees, getting the dream job, going on that vacation you always wanted, reconciling with your family and friends, overcoming addiction, etc.

Ya'll are becoming a red pill forum for women. Makes me sad.
