Can I adjust my gut micro biome to be high raw vegan but maybe once every 1-2 weeks to have a treat (cooked food, gluten, dairy, sugar, etc)?

Wait what?? No, vegan is an ethical lifestyle choice, not a diet where we occasionally “treat” ourselves to baby animal food (dairy) or animals.

If you want to build a healthy gut microbiome, whole food plant-based is the way to go, a diet rich in fiber, abundant in a variety of raw fruits and vegetables.

Gluten and any other processed foods I personally wouldn’t recommend as a treat. But that’s up to you and where you’re at on your journey.

Whether you want to eat raw, high raw, cooked plant-based, or commit to making the lifestyle change to vegan. That’s completely up to you. Don’t decide based on getting the title though, decide based on your health goals and what specifically you want.
