Well basically it is a matter of ownership. As once can get from the statement - PA was interested not in EvE, but in the publishing experience (15 years). Which was successfull.

It is unclear how it is going to be in the future - but the statements said that all offices that were involved in EvE development will persist and continue to work. So there is chance that this deal won't affect the initial course of the game.

On the other hand, as an owner PA at some point may ofcourse decide that the game can be more profitable and try to tinker with it... But i very much hope that there is a point in the documents that prevents them from doing so (at least for a certaing amount of years)...

Generally any news about the future of the game will only come from PA once the deal is struck. Most likely there will be no major statements from CCP in regards to where it will actually lead (other than some bold promisses and reassurances).

That's what comes to my mind when i think about this whole situation...
