1:30am on a monday morning, walking, huh, cant say I have ever done that but if I did I would be extremely worried about distracted/sleepy/drunk drivers. Definitely could have been a driver falling asleep as well. I wonder how big the shoulder was and if the gentleman that was struck was off the paved surface. Wonder if he was out late partying. Terrible all around, I dont know how people are coming to conclusions about what happened here without more details. another thing that didnt make sense to me, the article portrays him as an inseparable dad, but it was only over facetime? I mean at least he was on facetime I guess. Best of luck to the family. I hope they understand that the driver may not have been the only one to make a dire mistake that morning.
