Can anyone refute this video?

So I made it through about the first five minutes before I had to stop.

Typically what Heller does is refute the media's portrayal and the internet hype machine. In many ways, he's absolutely correct that the media and the internet almost universally present a flawed picture of the underlying climate science.

I like to think I have a fairly good understanding of the basics and that my arguments are sound but in many ways I don't understand all the fundamental science and many of my arguments and analogies contain flaws.

Some are intentional to help clarify a very complicated issue. And some are just a function of my ignorance and misconceptions regarding the issue.

Everything is cyclical. So you can cherry pick any part of that cycle to tell the story you want to. The situation we're in is that we have the ignorant leading the mentally challenged while the experts speak in a language that is incomprehensible to your average citizen. The language of science.

It's particularly bad on the denier side. But it's not that much better on the other side. The science is pretty clear and increasingly terrifying though.

What I've done recently is shifted focus from global warming/ghg/co2 to the warming in the arctic and the changes in weather patterns that are currently happening and will only worsen as the arctic warms.

It's a simpler story, is already happening, is much easier to comprehend and the ramifications are immediate and relatable.

And it isn't reliant on C02 and all the related misinformation and Al Gore.
