Can I apply for a job at JP Morgan Chase if I defaulted on one of their credit cards?

I applied to a bank where I had credit it and yeah, actually defaulted back when I was young. I owed them a lot, lot of money. A lot of money.

Now these people where calling me every now and then to try to collect but going no where. Again I was young, my credit is now clear and don't actually have credit nor will need it in the future.

So yeah, I was like what the hell, I applied and got the job. Definitely did show or should have shown on my credit report during background checks.

I don't think they bothered checking.

When I was working there for some unclear reason they stopped calling or communicating with me trying to collect.

Boss move. I wouldn't say you should do it but I had nothing further to lose.
