I want to preface this by saying I’ve come around and really enjoy Alanah with FunHaus. She’s really grown comedically (especially with the editor videos including Jon/Jacob/Ryan) and I genuinely like seeing her in videos.
However.....this incredible effort from Jon on Eye Tracker, and the fact he hosted the most recent google trends show, has brought a question to my mind.
What does Alanah actually do at FunHaus?
She produces and is on camera for GTA gameplays, she does an occasional OpenHaus (but hasn’t much lately). She doesn’t seem to be responsible for Google Trends anymore. And maybe once a month there’s a video with her and the editor crew.
However, it seems like Adam/James/Elyse/Jon do so much more producing/on camera work than her, and I don’t believe she does any editing (but that could be wrong).
On the flip side, she seems to be doing so much more work for her own personal projects and brand (podcast with Troy Baker, personal YouTube channel, own merch line, voice acting, etc.).
I hate to be this blunt because I always want to assume I’m wrong but.....it has seemed lately, to me, like FunHaus is the steady pay cheque and benefits that let her do all the other things she wants to do for her own brand and not FunHaus.
Somebody, please make me look like a jerk/idiot so I can better myself and understand how things work.
